Irida Classical presents the Dimitris Dragatakis string quartets, performed the internationally renowned New Hellenic Quartet.
String quartets have a prominent place in Dimitris Dragatakis' music and are regarded as one of his most accomplished works. It is therefore fortunate that the New Greek Quartet chose to include in their repertoire the quartets of our great artist. The end result is this recording that provies the listen the opportunity to hear them all in one place - beginning with Quartet no. 1, which is his first major form work, until his last work, Quartet no. 7.
